Try this delicous recipe before you head out. Not only will the old fashioned oats give you ample energy, but adding nuts will provide a welcome dose of protein, and some dried fruit and coconut will help keep it interesting.

- 1 cup Old Fasioned Rolled Oats
- 2 Cups Water
- Pinch of Salt
- Almonds (whole, ground, or sliced)
- Brown Sugar, honey, or maple syrup
Step 1: Bring water to a boil. Add salt if desired.
Step 2: Add in oats and cook for 5 minutes. Stir Frequently.
Step 3: Pour cooked oats into bowl and top with dates, coconut, honey, or other desired toppings.
Step 4: ENJOY!
